This week, my days and nights are filled with recording interviews connected to ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH and its associated events - for posting and broadcast in the weeks ahead. So, this Sunday, Dec 7 from 3-4pm, I will air interviews from a recent visit to the NORTON MUSEUM in West Palm Beach, where I spoke with chief curator, DR. ROGER WARD and with communications director, LEXI DAVIS.

ROGER WARD provides some museum history, a guide to museum operations and describes the important distinction between shows curated in-house (which still often requires considerable "horse trading") and those imported from other institutions. He also tells the story of the museum's commissioning of its luscious and dramatic blown glass ceiling by DALE CHIHULY.

Then LEXI DAVIS convincingly tells why she loves her job in communications, which touches every other job in the museum, but she may leave you wondering how she maintains her sanity - with all there is to coordinate. WATCH THIS SPACE for information about "Now WHAT?" an exhibition that curators CHERYL BRUTVAN (contemporary) and CHARLES STAINBACK (photography) will select on the fly at Art Basel venues for display at the Norton immediately after the shows pack up.

In the second half of the show, I'm joined LIVE by mosaic artist and instructor GINA HUBLER. A guest at the start of Mosaic of Art last December, Gina, who directs the Miami Mosaic Academy (currently exhibiting "5 Women I Love"), will report on her experiences this week at Art Basel Miami Beach and its various satellite venues.
